His passion to lead men out of the darkest places we as men can find ourselves is inspiring. His willingness to be vulnerable in front of 100+ men and share his life story truly impacted me and my walk with Christ! What hit home was how genuine and organized he was when he walked us through his own struggles. It was so clear that many of his struggles were the same as mine. I wasn’t alone! I can truly say Paul is an authentic person and every bit of what he says he is and what he does. Paul is so easy to talk to when sharing my latest struggle. He listens with patience, asks pointed questions that encourage me to think, and most importantly he holds me accountable in a loving way to my faith, my family, and to the men surrounding me. The strength of Paul’s character, the depth of his compassion, his mentoring, and his willingness to be open makes me proud to call him “Brother” and I am most certainly a better man today because he helped me put the pain of my struggles aside and re-focused me on my relationship with Christ!

Paul Beam has been my mentor and dear friend for the last 5 years and has made a tremendous impact in both my work and personal life. He does this by being highly relational, incredibly compassionate, and being led by the Holy Spirit.

He is one of the most honest, dependable, and incredibly hard-working men I have ever met and it has been a joy getting to know him these last couple of years. Paul has an undeniable love for people and for as long as I have known him he tends to make friends with everyone he comes across. He quickly gained my respect and trust over time and I have admired him for his authenticity and light-heartedness. Paul has a unique way of summoning my inner wild man. A contagious spirit, especially out there on the ranch. That's definitely one of his elements. Working with his hands, getting stuff done, and having fun ... all at the same time.

He challenges me to greatness, not from some distant pedestal, but from a much more intimate level. He is right there in the arena with me, along with all the challenges, obstacles, and other nitty-gritty details.

Paul is good even when he goes off script. It's like this stuff is part of his DNA...straight from the heart. Yes, he likes SOPs and processes, but those do not define his message or his mission. They simply organize them.

Paul and I share similar stories of growing up in fatherless homes so it's easier to relate not only to the brokenness in his life, which he so openly shares, but also the incredulous passion with which he pursues his calling: To challenge men to be better leaders and lovers of Jesus, their wives and families. His impact on me is simply being an ear when I need to vent, words of wisdom when I have tough questions, and constant support through all of my endeavors. He's done way more for me than I'd expect from the average person, and over time, it makes sense to consider Him like family. It's cool to see him using the lack of a father figure/positive father-like influence in his life, to be a positive role model to men, young and old. He is definitely one of the reasons why I desire to return the favor.
